Apex Nomz: Reinventing the Jerky Experience

Project Overview

Apex Nomz represents a complete brand identity creation for a subscription-based jerky company. Starting with a blank canvas, I developed every aspect of the brand from the ground up – from visual identity to brand voice, creating a playful and bold presence in the traditionally rugged jerky market.

Unique Flavors

A distinctive color system featuring four core colors representing different flavor profiles:

  • Green (Original)

  • Red (Sweet & Spicy)

  • Yellow (Honey Bourbon)

  • Mint (Chocomint)

The Challenge

The jerky market typically follows conventional, rugged styling that can feel repetitive and outdated. The challenge was to create a distinctive brand that would appeal to modern consumers while maintaining the potential for future scaling beyond jerky products.

The Solution

I crafted a unique visual identity centered around a playful alien abduction theme, using UFOs as a core design element. The brand identity includes:

  • A striking logo design that merges modern typography with retro sci-fi elements

  • A distinctive color system featuring four core colors representing different flavor profiles:
